The Tver Diocese decided to dedicate 2026 to the theme "Go and teach: the year of mission and enlightenment."
The Department of Religious Education and Catechesis, together with the church districts of the Tver Diocese, has planned a number of educational events for the teaching and parent communities, students and youth.
The Department began distributing a batch of educational leaflets (10,000 copies) to deaneries containing information about the Foundations of the Orthodox faith (the Commandments of the Old and New Testaments, prayers, Sacraments, etc.). These leaflets are recommended by the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Educational materials explaining the basics of the Orthodox faith will be distributed in kindergartens, secondary schools, colleges and universities of the region at educational meetings of priests and parish specialists with teachers and students, as well as at parent meetings dedicated to the choice of the module "Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture", at pedagogical seminars and advanced training courses.
