Participants of the All-Russian automobile procession "Russia under the Protection" delivered to the Pokrovsky Monastery of Korsakov an icon of the patron saints of entrepreneurs, a miraculous icon of the Mother of God "Troeruchitsa" and an icon of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a piece of Her omophorion.
The shrines traveled all over Russia, from Moscow, stopping in cities where services and prayers were performed in front of them.
Upon arrival of the shrines at the monastery, Archbishop Nikanor of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Kuril Islands performed a prayer of thanksgiving in front of them for the successful completion of the prayer procession.
It's amazing how a road thousands of kilometers long connects people with one prayer. From Moscow to Sakhalin— there are different cities, destinies, worries, but one faith and one hope for God's help. May the brought shrines become a reminder for our monastery and all those who came to them with prayer that the Protection of the Mother of God knows no boundaries — neither distances nor human circumstances.
