The restoration of the Tyutchev house church has been completed in the museum-reserve "Muranovo Manor" in the Pushkinsky urban district. Now the main attention is paid to the preparation of the necessary utensils for conducting divine services and their placement in appropriate places.
Alexander Bogatyrev, Director of the Museum-Reserve, expressed gratitude to his fellow restorers for their high professionalism in completing this significant project for the estate. He noted that the restoration work, which began in August last year, included various activities, including strengthening the brickwork of the Church of the Savior Not Made with Hands.
Significant changes also affected the dome and the roof structure. In addition, the procedure for injecting all structural elements was carried out to restore their bearing capacity.
Currently, work is underway to restore the iconostasis and interior, and the church utensils are preparing to return to their places.

March 14, 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill. This is not merely a personal jubilee, but a date of profound significance for the fullness of the Church as a whole, because episcopal consecration is the moment of assuming a special responsibility for the people of God and a witness to the Church’s fidelity to apostolic succession. The calling of the future Primate to episcopal ministry was formally established by a resolution of the Holy Synod in early March 1976; on the eve of the consecration, the rite of nomination took place, and on March 14—on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy—at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad theological schools, was consecrated Bishop of Vyborg.

By the decision of His Holiness Patriarch Pimen and the Holy Synod of March 3, 1976, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad Theological Academy and Seminary, was elected Bishop of Vyborg, vicar of the Leningrad Diocese.

Exactly 50 years ago, on March 13, 1976, at the Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian at the Leningrad Theological Academy, the rite of nomination took place; and on the following day, March 14, the First Sunday of Great Lent, the Feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, during the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra in Leningrad, the episcopal consecration of Archimandrite Kirill — the future Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ — was performed. The service was presided over by the ever-memorable Metropolitan Nikodim (Rotov), whom His Holiness Patriarch Kirill calls his spiritual mentor and teacher.
