At the location of the 245th separate railway track battalion on the territory of the 55th separate Guards motorized Rifle Brigade, a long-awaited celebration took place - the consecration of an Orthodox church. A small white temple decorated with a mosaic icon of St. Alexander Nevsky, which was built by the troops themselves for three years.

The consecration of the temple was preceded by a solemn opening, which was attended by the command, officers and military personnel of the battalion and unit, as well as specially invited guests. To the sounds of a solemn march, the deputy commander of the travel battalion for military and political work, Major Rumyantsev Alexander Vladimirovich, responsible for the construction of the temple, and Vladyka Ermogen cut the red ribbon.

The history of the creation of this temple dates back to 2021, which was declared memorable and jubilee by decree of the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin, due to the fact that it celebrated the 800th anniversary of the repose of the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky. For this reason, it was proposed to consecrate the temple in the name of the great holy commander.

The rite of minor consecration, with the blessing of the Ruling Bishop of the Kyzyl diocese, Archbishop Theophan of Korea, was performed by the vicar of the diocese, Bishop Hermogenes of Turan, after which he celebrated the first Divine Liturgy in the newly consecrated church. Hieromonk Ambrose (Gromov), head of the diocesan Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, and Deacon Alexander Shvab co-served His Grace at the divine service.

Then a procession took place around the temple, which was attended by officers, conscripts, employees of the unit, as well as those defenders of the Fatherland who are currently undergoing treatment or are preparing to return to the contact line.
