Archimandrite Trifon (Bortunov), rector of the church in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Paraskeva Friday in the village of Dedilovo, co-served by the full-time clerics of the church, Priest Alexander Romanov and Priest Oleg Nikora, performed prayer singing at the walls of the destroyed church in honor of St. Tikhon, Bishop of Amafunt.
A festive prayer service in the church of the same name, destroyed during the reign of the atheist government, was held on the eve of the memorial day of St. Tikhon of Amafunt.
Then the clergy held a memorial service for the ever-memorable murdered Archpriest Mikhail, the last rector of the church of St. Tikhon of Amafunt.
Together with the clergy, the parishioners prayed, who made a procession to the destroyed temple.
At the end of the service, Archimandrite Trifon (Bortunov) congratulated everyone on the patronal feast day of St. Tikhon, Bishop of Amafunt. The priest reminded the Orthodox residents of the village of Dedilovo that even in a ruined church, an angel and saints of God invisibly perform incessant prayer.
"The main thing for us is to preserve the Orthodox faith and be all together. In this case, any trials and difficulties can be overcome. This land needs a temple, people need it! God's blessing and God's help to all of us!" – these were the words Archimandrite Trifon (Bortunov) addressed his flock at the end of the meeting.
