The Resurrection Church was built in the XVII century, in memory of the hero of the first national militia Prokopy Lyapunov. There are ancient icons of the XVI-XVII centuries in this temple. One of them is the face of the Holy Great Martyr Paraskeva Friday. In the 20s of the last century, the decoration and icons from this temple were in danger of destruction. During the Soviet period, a warehouse was located here.
The icon was saved by the parishioners. Now the temple is in a deplorable condition, more than half of the area is not in operation due to the emergency condition. The walls of the temple are covered with cracks, paint and whitewash are crumbling.

"Salt was stored here, cement was stored, all sorts of chemicals were stored. This, of course, gave very large cracks in the walls. We have lost a lot, what can I say. With this porch, the walls begin to crumble, the inside crumbles too. Maybe we have one church left, which is inside. And you can't go anywhere else, because everything is destroyed everywhere," said Father Victor (Tarakanov), rector of the Church of the Resurrection of the Living.

The renovation of the temple is complicated by the fact that the building has the status of an architectural monument of federal significance and is in use by the Russian Orthodox Church. Without special permission, the church can only be put in order cosmetically.
