This Sunday, February 4, Orthodox men will pray for the Fatherland, the people, the authorities and the army of Russia. The fraternal prayer service is traditionally held every first Sunday of the month by the Forty Forty movement.
The official resources of the Movement say: "Brothers, in festive, Christmas joy, a month has passed very quickly since our Fraternal prayer service. Next Sunday, February 4, we will meet again in our fraternal circle to pray shoulder to shoulder to our Lord Jesus Christ and the Most Holy Theotokos for our Fatherland - Holy Russia, for its power and army!"
In Moscow, the Fraternal Prayer service will begin at 14 o'clock at the Church of St. George on Poklonnaya Hill.
