The exhibition "The Church Helps" has moved from Moscow's Fili Park to Yuri Luzhkov Park. The photo exhibition can be visited until November 30, 2026. This is the first joint special project of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service and the Kommersant publishing house.
"The church has always been a space where everyone could get help in any difficult life situation," said Artyom Remnev, head of the Department of Cultural Events at the Kuzminki—Lyublino State Museum-Reserve, which includes Yuri Luzhkov Park. — And today she continues to carry out an important mission of support in difficult life situations — be it a domestic problem, a health problem, a difficult social situation or parenting issues. Every day, priests, sisters of mercy, and church volunteers give their strength and love to help those in need. This is the main power of help."
The pictures show church aid projects: the Moscow Salvation Hangar and the Yekaterinburg Mercy Bus for the homeless, the rehabilitation centers for addicts "Monastery of Healing" in the Leningrad region and "Rainbow" in Kimry (Tver region), the social center "Tenderness" in Vyritsa, the St. Sophia social house of the Orthodox service "Mercy" in Moscow, The House of the Deafblind in Puchkov (Moscow region), which helps children and adults with disabilities, St. Spiridonievskaya almshouse of the Orthodox service "Mercy" for the lonely elderly in Moscow.
