The annual festival of the Orthodox author's song "Confession of the Heart" was held at the Gubernsky Cultural and exhibition center in Kostroma.
The Confessions of the Heart Festival, established in 1998 with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia and continuously held in Kostroma since 2001, was held this year for the 26th time.
For many years, its permanent moderator has been Archpriest Andrey Logvinov, a cleric of the church in honor of the Apostle John the Theologian in Kostroma.
At the entrance, the audience was greeted by the military orchestra of the VA RCB of Protection under the direction of the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant Colonel Eduard Klein, performing famous musical compositions.

Having delivered a welcoming speech and conveyed the blessing of His Eminence Vladyka in connection with the beginning of the festival, Father Andrey opened a 4-hour celebration of music and spiritual joy.
The concert program included festive and Christmas carols, carols, as well as spiritual chants. During the break, everyone could join the song culture and sing songs to the accordion.
This year, the festival was attended by more than a dozen artists and groups from different regions of Russia, as well as a guest from Serbia.
The children's and Youth Choir from St. Petersburg, conducted by Irina Valentinovna Boldysheva, concluded the warm musical evening with its kind performance.
The festival turned out to be interesting and eventful and became a worthy continuation of the feast of the Nativity of Christ.
