The ivth Christmas Choral Cathedral was held in the Main Church of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region, which for the first time united 10 civilian and military choral groups, more than 350 singers and over 2,000 spectators, including military personnel participating in a special military operation and their family members.
This traditional event is designed to bring together participants and guests.

Before the event, the church singers and parishioners were blessed by Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Moscow Patriarchate, Chairman of the Synodal Committee for Cooperation with the Cossacks.
The choir of cadets of the Military Institute (military conductors) took part in the IV Christmas Choral Cathedral The Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Orthodox Choir and the Ensemble of the Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "For Faith and the Fatherland", the choir of the song and Dance Ensemble of the Airborne Troops of the Russian Federation, the choir of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Leningrad Military District, the Central Border Ensemble of the FSB of Russia, the Transfiguration and Chamber Choirs of the Cathedral Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the choir of the Academic Music School at the Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Youth Episcopal Choir of the Gorlovka and Slavyansk Diocese (DPR), choir "Solba" of the Nikolo-Solbinsky Convent.

Each singing group performed a cappella works of Christian sacred music and other works.
General of the Army Viktor Goremykin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and Head of the Main Military and Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, addressed the guests and participants of the IV Christmas Choral Cathedral with a welcoming speech.

The Deputy head of the military Department expressed confidence that the holding of choral cathedrals contributes to the introduction to the centuries-old traditions of Russian spiritual musical culture and makes a significant contribution to the development of the tradition of choral performing arts in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Your singing has become a sincere prayer for all those who are defending our Homeland today, for those who are working for the future, for peace and prosperity in our Fatherland," said the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, addressing the participants of the Choral Council.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Viktor Goremykin, awarded the medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "For Faith and Service to the Fatherland" to the heads of choral groups and organizers of the event for his services rendered in the spiritual, moral and military-patriotic education of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and also presented letters of thanks from the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation to the creative teams that participated participation in the Christmas Choir Cathedral.
