On the evening of May 22, in the capital of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the rector of the Church of St. Philip the Apostle in the UAE, Archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev), celebrated a divine service; Deacon Alexy Kostin served him.
Parishioners living in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi gathered for a common prayer on the day of the celebration of the transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker from Myra of Lycia to Bari. 
The service was held in the church of the Orthodox Church of Antioch, dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
The late professor, Archpriest Vladimir Sorokin, made a special mention at the funeral litany.
The chants were performed by the choirs of the Church of St. Philip the Apostle. The symbol of faith and the Lord's prayer "Our Father" were sung by all the worshippers with folk singing.
Many parishioners came to Holy Communion. 
At the end of the service, Archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev) addressed the audience with a sermon on St. Nicholas.
