On July 14, 2026, a photo exhibition "Life in Service" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia opened in Yekaterinburg as part of the XXV anniversary International Festival of Orthodox Culture "Tsar's Days".
The exhibition in the Ural capital opens a series of exhibitions in dioceses dedicated to the upcoming 80th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill. This is the second major joint exhibition project of the Press Service of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and the Yekaterinburg Diocese, carried out by specialists from the Museum of the Holy Royal Family of the Tsarsky Cultural and Educational Center. From November 2025 to March 2026, the photo exhibition "Liturgy with the Patriarch" was held at six venues in Yekaterinburg, which was attended by more than 20,000 people.
The event on the square in front of the Memorial Church on the Blood was led by Metropolitan Evgeny of Yekaterinburg and Verkhotursky and honored guests.
The exhibition, which is located on the street stands at the Church on Blood, features 225 photographs reflecting the life and ministry of the Primate, made over the years by the staff of the Patriarch's Press Service. The photo project "Life in Ministry" reflects the following topics: biography, enthronement, divine services, Primatial visits to the Yekaterinburg Diocese in 2010, 2013 and 2018, interaction with representatives of the authorities, the Armed Forces, various aspects of Patriarch Kirill's social and missionary ministry.
The right to cut the symbolic ribbon was granted to the head of the Yekaterinburg Archdiocese and priest Igor Palkin. During the opening ceremony, the heads of universities and organizations that hosted the "Liturgy with the Patriarch" exhibition were honored.
The photo exhibition "Life in Service" will be open on the square near the Memorial Church on Blood and is accessible to everyone.
