On October 1, 2024, the first meeting of the Commission for the Implementation of the Foundations of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual Values of the Presidential Council for Interaction with Religious Associations and its working bodies took place in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by members of the commission and its working bodies — representatives of government agencies, scientific and educational organizations, religious figures and experts.
During the meeting, the participants discussed current tasks and plans for joint work in the context of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated November 9, 2022 No. 809 "On Approval of the Foundations of State Policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values."
On the part of the Russian Orthodox Church, the meeting was also attended by: Deputy Administrator of the Moscow Patriarchate Archbishop Savva of Zelenograd, First Deputy Chairman of the Synodal Department for Church-Society and Media Relations, Rector of the Russian Orthodox University A.V. Shchipkov, Head of the Department for Work with state Structures of the Synodal Department for Church-Society and Media Relations P.V. Lebedev A.S. Brilkov, specialist of the Moscow Patriarchate Affairs Department, A.A. Bukin, Legal Adviser of the Legal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate.
