Priest Alexy Golovin, responsible for the care of Russian-speaking believers of the Russian Orthodox Church in the territory of the Turkish province of Antalya, celebrated the first divine service in the community of Fethiye (Mugla province) on March 14, 2024.
Divine services in this community will be held regularly, according to the website of the parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate in Turkey.
Fethiye is located in the southwestern part of this country, 200 kilometers from Antalya and 60 kilometers from Dalaman Airport. The population is 84 thousand people. The city is located on the coast between the Mediterranean and the Aegean Seas at the foot of mountains covered with pine and cedar forests.
