The priests performed prayer services, consecrated the dugouts and the positions of the fighters, held general and personal conversations with the servicemen, visited several dugout churches, in one of which they checked the progress of repair work. Orthodox banners and chevrons with Christian symbols were transferred to the units.
During the trip, the following were handed over:
— 50 gift sets by March 8 for female doctors of the Dnepr group;
— to the paratrooper regiment, two assault companies and another military unit — medicines, various food products, including soups, porridges, sandwich spread of bacon, sweets.
The humanitarian cargo was collected and handed over by priests and parishioners of the Kirov Deanery of the Simferopol and Crimean dioceses, the Holy Cross Church of the Livadia Palace (Yalta deanery), as well as students and teachers of the Simferopol Academic Gymnasium, educators and parents of pupils of kindergarten No. 40 "Katyusha" in Simferopol, activists of the volunteer group "Do Good" and St. Nicholas Church of the Crimean capitals.
Another trip of the clergy of the Simferopol and Crimean dioceses to the area of the special military operation took place.
