The Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service has launched an advertising campaign: more than 130 banners with social advertising about helping the Church have been placed on the streets and on railway platforms in Moscow. There are plans to place banners in other cities and prepare a video version of the advertisement to be shown on TV channels and on the Internet.
More than 90 digital and 30 printed banners are located in 16 districts of Moscow, including the Central one. The advertisement is also placed on the MKAD, on the platforms of the Kazan, Yaroslavsky, Belorussky, Kursky and Savelovsky railway stations, on seven platforms of the MCC.
"This advertisement is an attempt to show that the Church is all of us. Not only priests and sisters of mercy, but each of us who believe in Christ," says Archpriest Mikhail Potokin, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Charity. — We become a Church when we do something not for ourselves, but for the sake of Christ. Then it is not our name that is glorified in this ministry, but the Savior Jesus Christ Himself.
" "Who helped you then?"—"I did not remember his face and name. But I remember that he had a cross," such dialogue is presented on advertising layouts.
The Synodal Department for Charity thanks the author of the advertising idea, director Alexander Semin, as well as the Moscow Government and Russian Railways for the free placement.
