The Russian Orthodox parish of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Oxford, England, belongs to the Sourozh diocese, which comprises parishes located in Great Britain and Ireland.

As reported in a message from the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign affairs, Mrs. Maria Zakharova, early in the morning a group of intruders broke into the church of St. Nicholas in Oxford. They robbed the church of valuables essential for Christian community, as well as cash which had been donated by the parishioners for refugees from Ukraine.

"Liz Truss, the British Foreign Secretary, certainly must be elated," said Mrs. Zakharova. The campaign of Russophobia and fake news which she has personally put in motion is bearing its devilish fruits in the very place where she once received her higher education.
