Russian Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) The so-called Council of the Schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine (PCU) appealed to Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople with a request to condemn the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) for its commitment to the ideas of the Russian world. The corresponding statement is posted on the PCU website.
Russian Russian Orthodox Church stated that the concept of the Russian world, which was set out in the "Mandate of the XXV World Russian People's Council", is a "Eurasian political ideology" and an "ethnophyletic heresy" (which tends to sacrifice church-wide interests to national ones), and its support from the ROC is a departure from Orthodox Christianity. The OCU asked Patriarch Bartholomew to call on Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to publicly condemn the concept of the Russian world and renounce it.
The OCU was established in 2018 in Kiev from two schismatic church structures. She then received autocephaly from Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities are now pursuing a policy of actively ousting the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), encouraging the transfer of its religious communities to the jurisdiction of the OCU, criminal cases are being opened against the clergy of the UOC, and the Ministry of Culture, represented by the administration of the museum reserve of the same name, terminated the lease agreement with the UOC for the oldest Orthodox monastery in Ukraine - the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
Recently, the Moscow Patriarchate has repeatedly criticized the actions of the Fanar (the short name of the Patriarchate of Constantinople in the Istanbul area where the patriarch's residence is located), in particular noting that its leaders, out of a thirst for satisfying private interests and ambitions, have become one of the instruments of political forces hostile to Orthodoxy.

The World Russian People's Council (WRNS) is the largest Russian public forum. It has been in existence since 1993 and plays an important role in the formation of civil society in the country. It includes leaders of traditional religions, public figures, scientists and cultural figures, representatives of government structures. The cathedral is headed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. In 2005, the organization was granted special consultative status with the United Nations. The purpose of the organization is to create a coalition of morally responsible and patriotically oriented forces of civil society.
Russian Russian People's Council's extraordinary congress in March approved the "Mandate of the XXV World Russian People's Council "The Present and Future of the Russian World", containing proposals and recommendations that relate, in particular, to a special military operation, foreign policy, family, democratic and migration policy, education, upbringing, economic and social development. Russian Russian People's Council, in particular, called for the legislative consolidation in the Russian Federation of the "doctrine of the trinity" of the Russian people, according to which it consists of Great Russians, Little Russians and Belarusians.
