His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent Easter greetings to the heads of the non-Orthodox Churches celebrating the Bright Resurrection of Christ on April 5. The text of the greeting is published on the website of the Moscow Patriarchate.
"The resurrection of the Savior of the World is the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, grace and righteousness over sin and lawlessness. On this blessed and holy day, we give special praise to God, who is glorified in the Trinity, for the incorruptible and blessed eternity granted to us, for, according to the word of the Apostle Paul, as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will come to life," the message of greetings reads.
The Patriarch also wished the heads of the non-Orthodox Churches good health, peace of mind, and the help of the Lord Jesus in their continued high ministry.
Congratulations have been sent to many religious figures, including Pope Leo XIV, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East Mar Ava III, Catholicos of Cilicia Aram I and many others.
