On March 24, 2026, a solemn event dedicated to the upcoming celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the department took place at the club of the House of Officers of the Central Office of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. As part of the celebrations, an official ceremony was held to nail the standard of the Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops, Commander—in-Chief of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, Hero of the Russian Federation, Army General V.V. Zolotov, to the flagpole.
The rite of consecration of the standard was performed by Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies. At the end of the service, the bishop addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The head of the Synodal department personally congratulated the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard troops, V.V. Happy birthday to Zolotov, wishing him God's unending help in carrying out responsible work for the benefit of the Fatherland, and to all the personnel of the National Guard troops — a fortress of mental and physical strength and a speedy victory.
In memory of the event, Metropolitan Kirill presented the director of the Rosgvardiya with an icon of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity.
In response, V.V. Zolotov expressed deep gratitude to the chairman of the Synodal department for his tireless efforts in the spiritual care of the servicemen of the National Guard troops and presented Vladyka with a memorable gift.
