On July 9, the Youth Forum of the Ivanovo Archdiocese "Enlightenment and Morality: personality formation and challenges of the time" was held in the village of Timiryazevo, Luhsky district.
His goal was the self-realization of youth through spirituality, creativity, charity, charity, patriotism and volunteerism. The forum was organized by the Ivanovo-Voznesenskaya, Kineshma, and Shuya dioceses together with the Ivanovo Region Committee on Youth Policy. The preparation of the event was previously discussed at several meetings chaired by Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensky and Vichug and at a meeting of the Bishops' Council of the Ivanovo Archdiocese on June 30.
The forum was attended by about three hundred young people representing a number of youth organizations in the Ivanovo region.
On the morning of the feast of the Tikhvin Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos and the commemoration of the finding of the relics of St. Tikhon of Lukhovsky, Bishop Hilarion of Kineshma and Palekh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Nikolo Tikhonov Monastery in the village of Timiryazevo. 
At the end of the service, the grand opening of the forum took place in the Timiryazevsky House of Culture. 
After the concert program, letters of thanks were presented to mentors and representatives of active youth of the Luhsky district. 
The participants of the forum were addressed by military and spiritual writer, knight of the Order of the Red Star, winner of the Great Literary Prize of Russia and the Patriarchal Literary Prize V.N. Nikolaev. Giving examples from his own life, Viktor Nikolaevich said that only in unity with God can one preserve the integrity of one's personality. In the format of an open dialogue with young people, issues of moral choice, spiritual values and human responsibility to society were discussed.
One of the significant events of the forum was the interactive lecture-concert by deacon Anatoly Ivanov "Journey to Epic Russia".
A significant part of the day's program was devoted to creative venues and master classes. Here, young people mastered the techniques of decorative and applied arts: they made wreaths from field grasses, worked with clay on a potter's wheel, tried themselves in texture painting, weaving, wet felting, and other types of creativity.
The forum ended with a panel discussion "Service", where they talked about life as a service to family, society and the Fatherland, and answered questions from the gathered youth.
