The Publishing House of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy published the book "Archpriest Nikolai Gundyaev (1940-2021). Life through Preaching", dedicated to Archpriest Nikolai Gundyaev, graduate, rector (1986-1987) and professor of the Leningrad Theological Academy. The publication contains an extensive selection of his sermons, selected scientific articles, a photo archive, memoirs of his contemporaries and documents, as well as a biographical information and other information.
This book is the fourth edition published in the jubilee series dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the revival of the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) theological schools. 
In his address to the readers, the editor-compiler of the book, the Vice-rector for Culture of St. Petersburg State University E.M. Gundyaeva notes: "This book is a small contribution to the memory of the professor of our Academy, Archpriest Nikolai Gundyaev. The son of Archpriest Mikhail of Leningrad, he absorbed a lot of the kind, deep and warm things that distinguished his father from many of his contemporaries. And the talent passed to him through the prayers of his father. <...> This edition of sermons and some scientific articles, as well as biographical information and other information, are published for the first time in the year of the 80th anniversary of the revival of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, of which the rector, graduate, professor and truly worthy son was the ever-memorable Father Nikolai, as well as on the 5th anniversary of his repose this year."
The reviewers of the anniversary edition were Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, Chairman of the Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church, and Priest Dimitri Lushnikov, Head of the Department of Theology at St. Petersburg State Theological Academy.
The book was published with the support of the Church of the Presentation of the Lord on Grazhdansky Prospekt in St. Petersburg.
