With the blessing of Bishop Ambrose of Grozny and Sunzha, on October 10, 2026, the Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Grozny Diocese organized the transfer of humanitarian aid to military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the military hospital of the village of Khankala.
Warm clothes, bed linen, basic necessities and other things necessary during the treatment period were collected and handed over to the servicemen. In addition, tea treats were prepared — dried fruits, waffles and other food items.
Priest Pavel, a clergyman of the Grozny diocese, also visited the military personnel undergoing treatment, talked with them and wished them a speedy recovery.
The priest sprinkled holy water on the soldiers and handed over icons of St. John the Russian and Archangel Michael to each of them.
