On October 30, 2024, the third St. Prokhorov Monastic Cathedral began work in the monastery of St. Prokhor of Pchinsky in Serbia. The deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism, Abbess of the Zachatievsky Stavropol Convent in Moscow, Abbess Juliania (Kaleda), made a presentation at the first meeting of the council on "The Revival of monastic brotherhood/sisterhood. What does it depend on?"
In her report, Abbess Juliania noted the age—old connection between the two sister Orthodox Churches - Serbian and Russian, the importance of sharing monastic experience. Matushka also paid attention to the basics of the monastic tradition and methods of spiritual improvement in the context of modern civilizational processes and the characteristics of modern man.
Summing up her speech, Abbess Juliania said that the monastic brotherhood is created by the Lord, and the primary duty of monastics is to help Him in His work.

The third St. Prokhorov Monastic Council was held at the monastery of St. Prokhor Pchinsky on October 30-31. This international monastic meeting was organized by the Orthodox Diocese of Vranj in cooperation with the Holy Monastery of Hilandar, under the patronage of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The two-day program of the cathedral included four thematic sessions: "The revival and development of monasticism"; "Monastic obedience as a path to knowledge and fulfillment of the will of God"; "The importance of hesychasm for Eastern monasticism"; "Monasticism and monasteries in countries without the tradition of Orthodox monasticism".
