On June 3, 2026, a special charity evening will be held in Moscow at the Meridian Cultural Center in support of the work of the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission in the conflict zone.
The MonteVerdi Ensemble and students of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory will perform works by Russian and foreign composers — Mozart, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov — with lively stories about music.
"This is the third such event organized with the support of the Meridian Cultural Center and the Synodal Department for Church Charity," comments Natalia Letavina, Head of the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission Development Department. — This is another opportunity for us to talk about the needs and troubles of the people we help. We are grateful to our partners for their participation."
The organizers are waiting for everyone to hold a musical evening and support the organization of assistance to those in need in the conflict zone. Admission is free. 
Donations can be made during the concert. Mission staff will work on site, from whom it will be possible to learn how to join the field trips as a volunteer.
The event will take place on June 3 at 19.00 at the Meridian Moscow Cultural Center at 61 Trade Union Street (Kaluzhskaya metro station, Vorontsovskaya metro station)
The Russian Orthodox Church has been helping civilians in Donbas since February 2022. There are 12 church aid centers in the border areas, Moscow and the conflict zone, which have processed over 385,000 requests. More than 4,230 tons of humanitarian aid have been transferred to the victims. More than 7,300 volunteers participated in helping the victims. As part of the project to restore private housing for those in need in the conflict zone, 760 private homes have been restored. The Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission coordinates the social assistance of the Church in the regions of the SVR zone.
