A special festive program for children was held in the church of Archangel Michael in Noyabrsk during Holy Week, the week after Easter. According to tradition, during this period, everyone is allowed to ring the bells, and the clergy organize educational excursions, including for the youngest guests.
The participants of one of these events were first-graders, many of whom visited the temple for the first time. Deacon Vitaly Khomenko conducted an exciting tour for the children: he told them about the history of the temple, the location of sacred places inside the church, and their significance in the Orthodox faith.
The young guests did not remain indifferent — they actively asked questions, and the priest answered them in detail.
The meeting culminated with a visit to the bell tower. The students were able not only to hear the solemn bell ringing — the main acoustic symbol of Easter — but also to try themselves as bell ringers. The joyful faces of the children and their enthusiastic emotions became the best confirmation that this form of acquaintance with spiritual traditions deeply touches young hearts.
