From August 3 to 11, 2024, the Stavropol region hosted the 35th International Orthodox Festival "Brothers," bringing together young people from various dioceses across Russia, as well as a delegation from Belarus led by the head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Minsk Diocese.

The "Brothers" festival, organized by activists from Mozhaisk with the support of various Orthodox associations and public organizations, has been held twice a year—summer and winter—since 2008. The event provides Orthodox youth and those interested in Orthodoxy an opportunity to deepen their faith and forge new friendships.

The festival's program included religious services, creative performances, thematic discussions with clergy, excursions, sports competitions, games, and workshops. One of the workshops focused on teaching participants how to discuss their faith, addressing questions that non-believing acquaintances might ask and learning how to articulate their beliefs effectively. A highlight of the event was the grand ball, which served as the festival's climax. Additionally, participants engaged in a traditional game called "Angels," where they secretly made surprises for their assigned "charges," revealing their identities on the final day. The festival's website also reported that baptisms and weddings took place during the event.
