From January 27 to February 3, 2025, the week of Orthodox culture "Orthodox Russia" was held in the Verkhne-Kolybelsky branch of the lyceum of the village of Khlevnoye. According to tradition, it was opened by a creative line, which featured poems, greetings and wishes, and classroom groups received invitations to class hours and events. The book exhibition "The World of Orthodox Books" has started its work.
The third graders were invited to hold a class hour "Prince Vladimir – the Sun of Russia", which was attended by Hieromonk Irinarch (Shumilov), the priest of the restored Church of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Verkhnyaya Cradle in the Khleven district. The clergyman completed the class teacher's story, answered the students' questions, and showed those who wished how to ask for a priestly blessing.
The sixth–grade class hour "The Origins and traditions of the Orthodox Faith" was held in the form of a conversation - dialogue with Hieromonk Irinarch.
The ninth grade class lesson "The historical phenomenon of Orthodoxy in Russia" talked about the fact that the Orthodox faith helped everyone who acquired it to realize the supreme meaning of life, helped to noticeably increase their best qualities, creative and creative abilities. Russian Russians, with God's help, gathered and united disparate peoples into a single Russian nation, and created a great Russian culture. Hieromonk Irinarch (Shumilov) told the teenagers that the phenomenon of our power can be felt only through the spirit and heart through comprehension of the multifaceted spiritual power of Russia, which consists in the Gospel Truth, our beautiful churches, in the veneration of the Cross of Christ, in church Sacraments, heartfelt prayers, the protection of Christ, the Virgin and the saints.
The traditional school drawing contest "My Holy Russia", which takes place annually during the Week of Orthodox Culture, took place.
On a tour of the temple, teenagers learned about the life of the temple and plans for construction and restoration work, learned how to write notes about health and rest, light candles with prayer, took part in a prayer service and memorial service, and actively asked questions.
Listening to the teacher and discussing historical videos, the teenagers came to the conclusion that it makes sense to learn valuable rules from the experience of their great–grandfathers and widely use them in modern life: when danger arises, ask God for protection and His help; read simple prayers in the morning and evening, while studying and working; read the Gospel and the lives of saints, participate in divine services and pilgrimages to holy places; do not defile your mouth with obscenities, do not condemn, be kind.
The school-wide parent-teacher meeting "And the Orthodox Faith gives us many benefits," which was also held on January 31, was held in the form of an oral journal, each page was presented by teachers and students.
The page "Orthodox faith is necessary for a person to perceive Russian culture more fully and deeply and to decorate his life with it" turned out to be especially bright and interesting for the participants.
