On the feast of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost), June 23, the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Konstantin of Zaraisk, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg (South Africa).
The archpastor was co-served by the dean of the parishes of the South African Diocese in South Africa, Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy, the website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa reports.
The divine service was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to South Africa I.I. Rogachev.
At the end of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Constantine celebrated the great Vespers of the feast of Pentecost with the recitation of kneeling prayers.
After the service, Vladyka addressed the worshippers with a sermon.
On the eve of the feast of Pentecost, on the evening of June 22, Metropolitan Konstantin held an all-night vigil in St. Sergius Church.
