An inclusive photo exhibition "Close People" opened in the Museum of the History of the Annunciation Cathedral of the Kazan Kremlin on December 11. The exhibition includes photographs of young people and teenagers attending classes at the inclusive media center "Peremena". The media center operates under the center of the same name for the spiritual and creative development of the personality of the Kazan parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov.
In the classes at the media center, teenagers and young people aged 13 to 35 years old master the genres of journalism, learn how to work on social networks, and create audiovisual materials. The photography course ended with participation in the photo exhibition. As part of this course, students attended lectures and practical classes. Some students have acquired the skill of photographing Orthodox divine services and church sacraments.
A musical program was presented at the opening of the photo exhibition. Teachers of the Peremena Center conducted creative workshops for children and adolescents with disabilities. Kazan residents and guests of the city will be able to visit the photo exhibition until January 11, 2025.
The project "Orthodox Inclusive Center "Change" is being implemented with the support of the International Grant Competition "Orthodox Initiative". As part of the project, students conducted interviews with Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, attended a creative meeting with Matvey Kipnis, head of the video department of the Foma magazine, and visited the studio of the Ether television company. Ahead of the guys is a recording of a radio program and a report lesson on the layout of a printed publication.
