On March 15, 2024, the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Patriarch Porfiry, arrived in Moscow to participate in the funeral and burial of the representative of the Patriarch of Serbia to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, the rector of the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul at the Yauza Gate of Moscow (a compound of the Serbian Orthodox Church) Bishop Anthony of Moravici. Vladyka Anthony departed to the Lord on March 11.
Together with Patriarch Porfiry, Bishop Iriney of Bacha, Bishop Gerasim of Gornokarlovatsky, Bishop Hesychius of Valevsky, Bishop Stefan of Remezyansky, Bishop Nectary of Egara, Bishop Peter of Toplitsky, Archpriest George Stoisavlevich, Deacon Dragan Radich, Deacon Ivan Vasilyevich, Deacon Miroslav Nikolich, Subdeacon Deyan Nakich, Subdeacon Vladimir Yelich arrived in Moscow.
On Saturday, March 16, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and His Holiness Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia will lead the Divine Liturgy and the funeral service of Bishop Anthony at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (the service begins at 10.00).
