Konstantin Bobylev, a member of the Board of the Vera Charitable Education Foundation, said that since the beginning of the year, Orthodox radio Vera has been broadcasting in correctional institutions in the Tomsk region. 
From May 28 to May 30, 2024, K. Bobylev visited the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Tomsk region, took part in a meeting of the interreligious working group on the topic: "Interaction of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Tomsk region with the main traditional Russian religious associations. Problematic issues and ways to solve them."
During the meeting, the guest told the audience about the activities of the foundation and showed videos introducing the work of the federal radio Vera, broadcast in correctional institutions in different regions. In addition, he held an educational conversation with employees, where he focused on the fact that everyone needs to learn to forgive, and an employee working directly with a convict needs to be able to separate a person and his past deeds. 
K. Bobylev also visited the Tomsk VK-2 for juvenile convicts. At the initiative of the charitable foundation, Orthodox radio Vera has been successfully broadcasting in this colony since the beginning of 2024. He checked the quality of the radio station's broadcasting, visited a temple operating in a secure area, looked at the living conditions of the pupils, got acquainted with the organization of the educational process and talked with juvenile convicts on the topic of spiritual enlightenment. During the conversation, a very important topic for the girls was touched upon — family and motherhood. The pupils warmly welcomed the guest, willingly participating in the dialogue. 
The guest also visited LIU-1 and IK-4, where he told the convicts about how listening to Orthodox radio Vera can help listeners make the right choice in difficult circumstances.
On May 30, a "missionary Liturgy" or "Liturgy with Commentary" was celebrated in the Church of the Presentation of the Lord at penal colony No. 4. Its main difference from the standard divine service is the presence of several inserts with explanations that reveal the theological meaning and symbolism of certain sacred rites or prayers, which allows participants to get to know Orthodox culture more closely. The divine service was led by Priest John Drozdov. 
At the end of the visit, it was noted that joint work plans include broadcasting Radio Vera in all correctional institutions of the Tomsk region.
