On the feast of the finding of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov (1903), on August 1, 2024, the Divine Liturgy on the square in front of the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery at the shrine with the venerable relics of St. Seraphim was led by Metropolitan Feognost of Kashira, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism. According to the established tradition, before the beginning of the divine service, the shrine is transferred from the Trinity Cathedral of the monastery.
On the eve of the evening divine service was held in the Trinity Cathedral of the Seraphim-Diveevsky monastery. The Small Vespers with the Akathist to St. Seraphim of Sarov and the all-night vigil were also led by Metropolitan Feognost of Kashira.
The Chairman of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism was served at the Liturgy by the metropolitans and bishops of the dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as the secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese, Archpriest Sergiy Matveev, the dean of the Diveevsky district and the senior priest of the Diveevsky Monastery, Priest Vladimir Kargin and a host of clergy.
At the divine service, together with numerous pilgrims and parishioners, the abbess of the Diveevsky monastery, Abbess Sergia (Konkova) and the sisters of the monastery, the abbess of the Mother of God-Rozhdestvensky Stavropol Convent in Moscow, Abbess Victorina (Perminova), the abbess of the Zachatievsky Stavropol Convent in Moscow, prayed. Abbess Juliania (Kaleda) of Moscow, Abbess of the Spaso-Borodinsky Monastery of the Odintsovo diocese, Abbess Seraphim (Isaeva), abbess of the Holy Tikhvin Bogoroditsky Convent of the Buzuluk diocese, Abbess Panteleimon (Krivenkova), as well as abbesses of monasteries of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese.
A broadcast of the divine service was organized for pilgrims and parishioners on screens installed on the territory of the monastery. 
Volunteers from the dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church — participants of the IV Interregional Forum of Orthodox Youth "My Joy", which started in Diveevo on July 28, provided assistance in receiving pilgrims, maintaining order during divine services and holding Diveevo celebrations.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Theognost of Kashira read out the greeting of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
Abbess Sergia thanked Metropolitan Theognost, Metropolitan George and all the bishops present for the visit and the perfect festive divine service. The abbess of the Diveevsky Monastery presented Metropolitan Theognost and Metropolitan George with healthful prosphora and presented each with an icon depicting St. Seraphim of Sarov and the Holy Passion-bearer Tsar Nicholas II.
In turn, Metropolitan George asked Metropolitan Theognost to convey gratitude to His Holiness the Patriarch for his care and concern and, addressing the participants of the celebrations, congratulated them on the day of memory of St. Seraphim of Sarov.
Icons of St. Seraphim of Sarov were distributed to all those present at the celebrations. The number of participants in the Divine Liturgy on the memorial day of St. Seraphim of Sarov on the territory of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery, according to law enforcement agencies, amounted to 5,200 people. The total number of visitors to the monastery during the celebrations is 12,500 people.
