With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the II Christian Youth Forum is being held in Cheboksary on September 18-21, 2023. The theme of the event, which is held under the auspices of the Christian Interfaith Advisory Committee (HMMC), is "Christian youth in Social Service".
The forum participants will be young people, representatives of Christian denominations from different regions of Russia, who take an active social position, the website of the HMCC reports.
The objectives of the event are stated to strengthen the interfaith community of Christian youth on the basis of common religious values, peace and harmony between peoples, as well as the exchange of experience in social service.
The opening ceremony of the II Christian Youth Forum will be attended by heads and representatives of Christian denominations, officials of the region, representatives of the media.
During the four days of the forum, youth social projects of various Christian denominations will be presented. Participants will visit several social facilities in Cheboksary and take part in their work. Invited experts will share their experience of social service.
