This year's first Orthodox donor Day was held on February 8, 2024. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk, and an agreement with the Bryansk Regional Blood Transfusion Station, such actions have been held in the Bryansk Diocese since 2013. A mobile blood transfusion station was deployed on the territory next to the Cathedral.

In total, more than 72 people came to donate blood on this day, of which 37 donors made donations, which will be directed to charitable purposes by the diocesan department for Church Charity and Social service. From the Bryansk Diocese, each donor and medical staff of the station received a gift of chocolate.
