By order of the Main Department of Cultural Heritage of the Moscow region, the protective obligation of the owner of the cultural heritage object of regional significance "Church of the Nativity of Christ, 1881", located at the address: Moscow region, Dmitrovsky city district, village of Ilyinskoye, the press service of the department reports.
The brick church in the village of Ilyinsky was built at the expense of parishioners according to the project of the Moscow architect V. O. Grudzin in 1881 on the site of an old wooden church that existed in Ilyinsky since 1761. The building of the new church was designed for 600-700 people. The side chapels of the church in honor of St. Nicholas and the Prophet Elijah were consecrated on February 24, 1885.
In 1938, the church was closed, church utensils and icons were seized. The building was used as a grain warehouse. In 1996, parish life was resumed in the church. Currently, the church is functioning, there is a school and a library at the temple.
The security obligation establishes mandatory requirements for the preservation, maintenance and use of an object of cultural heritage, as well as the timing and composition of the necessary work to preserve it.
