Information has been published in the official social networks of the communities about the prohibition by the authorities of the Khmelnitsky region of the procession of the UOC in Pochaev. The decree of the Khmelnitsky OVA and the regional shopping center has not yet appeared on the official website, the newspaper reports.
According to the document, any events in the form of processions and demonstrations are prohibited from August 16 to 25, in particular, the UOC march. The order noted that the purpose of this decision is to ensure the safety of citizens and law and order in the region.
In the past, in 2023, the authorities blocked the passage of the crusaders through the Ternopil, Khmelnitsky and Rivne regions of Ukraine - that is, all along its route, men of military age were handed mobilization summonses right in the course of the Procession, thus trying to interrupt more than 200-year-old church tradition.
