His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent his condolences to His Holiness Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia in connection with the tragic incident in the city of Novi Sad (Serbia), where more than ten people died due to the collapse of the roof at the railway station.
In the letter of Patriarch Kirill, in particular, it says: "On behalf of the God-loving Fullness of the Russian Orthodox Church and on my own behalf, I offer you and His Eminence, Metropolitan Irinej of Baca, my deep sincere condolences in connection with the disaster in Novi Sad, which caused the death and injury of many people.
I pray for the repose of all those who were victims of what happened. The Father of Mercy and the God of all consolation (2 Cor. 1. 3) may He raise the victims from the bed of sickness and may He send comfort to all who have been touched by this tragedy."
