On Saturday of the 2nd week after Easter, April 25, a conciliar divine service and a general meeting of clergy serving in Portuguese parishes took place at the Parish of All Saints in Lisbon. This is reported by the website of the Spanish-Portuguese Diocese.
The Divine Liturgy on this day was led by the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan Mark of Korsun and Western Europe, administrator of the Spanish-Portuguese Diocese, who is on his first archpastoral visit to Portugal.
The archpastor was assisted by the clergy of Portuguese parishes.
After his dismissal, the archpastor addressed the concelebrating clergy and parishioners with words of archpastoral edification on the subject of evangelical reading.
In response, Hieromonk Nicholas congratulated Metropolitan Mark on his appointment as Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, thanking him for his archpastoral attention to the Lisbon parish and the Portuguese flock in general.
At the end of the service, a meeting of the clergy of the Portuguese deanery was held under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Mark. During the meeting, all relevant issues related to the life and activities of Orthodox communities in Portugal were raised.
