Representatives of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission Pray with Patriarch Theophilos at Jerusalem Patriarchate Liturgy

Representatives of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission participated in a solemn service at the Monastery of Saints Constantine and Helen in Jerusalem. The Divine Liturgy was led by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine.

The service was attended by hierarchs and clergy of the Jerusalem Patriarchate, the representative of the Romanian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, Archimandrite Ioan (Meiu), nuns from the Gorny Convent in Ein Kerem, Russian-speaking believers in Jerusalem, and numerous Christians from the Holy City and its surroundings.

The liturgy was conducted in Greek, Arabic, and Church Slavonic, according to the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission's website.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a procession of worshippers and clergy, led by Patriarch Theophilos, proceeded to the Grand Throne Hall of the Jerusalem Patriarchate, where a festive reception was held.

At the conclusion of the reception, Archimandrite Vassian and Abbot Nikon personally congratulated Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem on the patronal feast and sought his primatial blessing for their continued efforts in ecclesiastical diplomacy.
