In the Great Hall of the Mariinsky Palace (Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg) On September 11, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met with participants of the X St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures "Culture of the XXI Century: Sovereignty or Globalism?". 
The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church made a presentation on the topic of the forum, then answered questions from the audience.
The X St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures is taking place on September 11-14, 2024. The main theme of the anniversary forum is "Culture of the XXI century: sovereignty or globalism?". The organizers are the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Government of St. Petersburg. The forum is attended by representatives of the CIS, SCO, BRICS and other friendly countries.
The St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures is a unique international platform for meetings, open dialogue and exchange of experience between experts in the field of culture, representatives of government and the business community; it is aimed at preserving and developing Russian culture, supporting cultural initiatives at the regional, federal and international levels, and developing international cooperation in the field of culture, building the capacity of intercultural communication.
