The village of Savvino is located 13 km north of the city of Yegoryevsk on the right bank of the Tsna River. Currently, there are two stone churches in the village of Savvino (Troitskaya and Uspenskaya), left over from a large temple complex that decorated this area until the beginning of the twentieth century. Previously, there was a wooden church of the XVIII century, and a three-altar stone church with a bell tower at the beginning of the XIX century.
In 1920, the Assumption Church was closed. The Trinity Church was closed by a decree of the executive committee of the Moscow Regional Council of Workers' Deputies on November 4, 1940 and placed at the disposal of the Pominovskaya textile Factory. Magnificent icons in golden robes and precious books were taken away, brocade and silk vestments were burned, gold and silver utensils were stolen. At various times, the temple building housed a warehouse, a cooperage, and a hardware store. The temples were partially destroyed.
In 1993, with the blessing of Metropolitan Juvenal of Krutitsky and Kolomna, an Orthodox community was registered at the church. For a long time, divine services were held in the left aisle of the Assumption Church. The temple complex began to be restored only in 2012. In the same year, the rector of the church, Priest Alexander Leontiev, celebrated the first Divine Liturgy in the Trinity Church after its opening.
In 2019, with the blessing of Metropolitan Juvenal of Krutitsky and Kolomna, within the framework of the program "Ruined Shrines of the Moscow region", the dean of the churches of the Ramenskoye district, Hegumen Nikodim (Lunev), began restoring the Trinity Church. At his request, A.S. Oreshkin, head of the Moscow State Budgetary Institution "Highways", responded to the good cause of the restoration of the temple. With the care of A.S. Oreshkin, restoration work began in the Trinity Church.

In 2022, with the blessing of Metropolitan Pavel, the Blagovest bell weighing 16 tons was cast, the largest in the Kolomna diocese.
