On the 3rd Week of Great Lent, the Crucifixion, on March 23, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrated the rite of the great consecration of the church of the Holy Martyr Hermogenes, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, at the Patriarchal Compound in Zyuzin, Moscow, and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the newly consecrated church.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill consecrated two altars: the central one in honor of the Holy Martyr Hermogenes, and the southern one in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh. 20 antimins were also consecrated.
Builders, benefactors, beautifiers and donors of the temple were present in the temple.
At the end of the Liturgy, the veneration of the Holy and Life-giving Cross of the Lord was performed.
Priest John Omelianchuk greeted His Holiness Patriarch Kirill and presented His Holiness with an icon depicting the namesake saints of the Primate's relatives and friends (Saints Cyril, Vladimir, Hermogenes, Nicodemus, Michael, Raisa, Nicholas, Elena).
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill donated an Iveron Icon of the Mother of God to the newly consecrated church.
The faithful were presented with icons of the Holy Martyr Hermogenes with the Patriarchal blessing.

The church of the Holy Martyr Hermogenes, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, in Zyuzin was built according to the Program for the construction of Orthodox churches in Moscow. By a decree of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill dated September 2, 2013, a patriarchal compound was established at the church under construction.
The construction of the temple was carried out from June 2018 to September 2023. The foundation stone was consecrated on April 6, 2019. On March 4, 2023, the baptismal church of St. Sergius of Radonezh was consecrated. In October 2023, the church of the Holy Martyr Hermogenes was put into operation.
The stone two-storey five-domed cross-domed church with a three-domed belfry from the north and a single-domed baptismal church from the south was built according to the design of architect V.I. Kozlov. The architectural appearance of the temple complex was based on the style of original church architecture, which was established in Russia after overcoming the Troubles of 1613. The dominant feature of the complex is a high five-domed temple for 500 people. An integral part of it is a free-standing tent belfry. The low baptismal church for 120 people, adjacent to the south side, is designed to enhance the impression of grandeur of the main temple.
