On the feast of Easter, a procession was held in Ussuriysk, bringing together about 700 people. The procession began from the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and ended at the Church of St. Peter the Great. St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
A column of believers with icons, banners and candles traveled about three kilometers through the streets of Ussuriysk. The crusaders included clergy from the Vladivostok diocese, military personnel, Cossacks, and parishioners of Ussuri churches. The prayer procession was led by Archpriest Andrey Mashanov, dean of the Ussuriysk deanery.
To the sound of bells and Easter hymns, the participants of the procession carried the shrines with special trepidation, feeling unity and spiritual joy. At the end of the procession at St. Nicholas Church, Father Andrew cordially congratulated everyone on the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ.
