On January 7, as the Catholic Church celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, Pope Francis extended his warmest Christmas greetings to the Eastern Churches. Vatican News reported on the event.

"I am pleased to extend my warmest wishes to the Eastern Christian communities celebrating the Holy Nativity," the Pontiff said during his address at St. Peter’s Square. He expressed hope for peace and comfort for those suffering from war, adding, "May Jesus, the Prince of Peace, bring peace and tranquility to all."

In his address, Pope Francis also reminded the faithful that January 6 marks the World Day of Missionary Children. This year, the event is held under the theme: "Go and invite everyone you find to the wedding feast." The Holy Father welcomed children and young missionaries, calling for prayers and solidarity in their support.

Additionally, the Pope called on all believers to continue praying for peace in Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Myanmar, and other war-torn regions.

Pope Francis' message emphasized unity and fraternity among Christians of different denominations, highlighting the importance of joint prayer and the hope for global peace.
