Anna Kuznetsova is a mother of seven, wife of a priest from the town of Penza (Middle Volga region), and is under the age of forty. She was previously a housewife, and that’s nothing to be shy about.

Working as a volunteer, organizing charity and advocacy groups for the defense of the family, the prevention of abortion, and the support of single mothers and low income families, Mrs. Kuznetsova gained a sufficiently favorable reputation in the country to be appointed by the President to the position of Federal Ombudsman for the Minors in the year 2016.

Five years have gone by in endless struggle with opponents from the “left” and from the “right”, in victories and setbacks. Victories prevailed, and in the general elections this September she was elected to the Federal Legislative Assembly — the Duma.

“In the Duma, Mrs. Kuznetsova is slated to head the Committee for Motherhood, Childhood, and Families,” said Putin, the President of the Russian Federation. It also has been reported that she may become the Vice-Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

It is good to see quality people elected to the Federal Legislative Assembly. We are happy as well as encouraged.
