A new charity project named “The Open World” has been launched in November this year, in the Tatarstan metropolis of Russia. Its main goal is to provide socially vulnerable people with access to all kinds of cultural events. This new charity also makes it possible for low-income families and families raising children with development problems, to visit theater performances, cinema, and concerts.

The charity project is operated by the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, Russia, and is supported by a number of sponsors. The Open World project directors also plan to organize cultural events for clergy, students of theological schools, and low-income parishioners.

In November, project managers already supplied free tickets for several families to a play staged in the Kazan Theater for Young Theatergoers, to the “Day of the Russian Language” at Musa Djalil Tatar Academic State Theater of Opera and Ballet, and to a National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
