The construction of a spiritual and educational center at the Church of All the Venerable Fathers of Kiev Caves in Starye Cheryomushki has begun. It will become a significant part of the future temple complex.
The first stage of construction is underway at the facility. The builders have started to install the reinforcement frame of the foundation plate.
"There is already a temporary church here, and at the request of the parish, we have begun construction of a spiritual and educational center, which will become an important part of parish life. Then there will be a large temple, educational and cultural venues. Commissioning is scheduled for 2028," said V.I. Resin, Adviser to the Patriarch on construction issues, curator of the Program for the Construction of Orthodox Churches in Moscow, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The complex will include a new five-domed Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a spiritual and educational center and a house of clergy. The construction is being carried out in stages. The main architectural accent will be the new temple, which is the semantic and compositional dominant of the ensemble. Its appearance is based on the traditions of ancient Russian architecture from the pre-Mongol period to the 17th century. The building will be decorated with decorative brick elements and colored ceramic tiles.
The spiritual and educational center is being built in the same style as the temple. Its facades are decorated in the spirit of 17th century architecture, using arched belts, tiled decor and semicircular openings. The internal spaces are intended for educational, cultural and social work of the parish. There will be halls for classes, clubs and meetings, a sports block, and classrooms for working with children and adults.
The Ark Sunday school is already operating at the temple with a rich program for children and parents. The school is active on weekends and holds additional classes on weekdays. Since 2016, the parish has a youth club that unites parishioners over the age of 15. Participants make pilgrimages, arrange meetings with clergy and interesting guests, hold film screenings and discussions. There is a parish film club. In addition, there are preparation courses for the OGE and the Unified State Exam in mathematics.
