The annual international scientific and practical conference "Peter's Educational Readings: Spiritual and Moral Values in Modern Russian Society" will be held in Magnitogorsk and Verkhneuralsk from October 14 to 19. It will be attended by clergymen, government officials, Cossacks, teachers, public figures and scientists.

Peter's educational readings are held in memory of the life and feat of the Patriarchal Locum Tenens of the Holy Martyr Peter, Metropolitan of Krutitsky. This year is a memorable one for everyone who honors the South Ural saint. March marked the 100th anniversary of his elevation to the rank of metropolitan.

On October 16, the Divine Liturgy will be held at the Cathedral of the Ascension of Christ in Magnitogorsk, which will be led by Metropolitan Clement of Kaluga and Borovsk, Chairman of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church. Before the beginning of the service, an ark with fragments of the relics of the Blessed Peter and Fevronia of Murom will be brought.

The conference participants will have a rich program: discussion platforms, seminars, master classes, concerts and lectures.
