The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has charged the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia in absentia with encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and justifying the actions of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's office, the head of the ROC was charged"with encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, justifying the actions of the Russian Federation, the department said in a Telegram channel.
The office accuses the head of the Russian Orthodox Church of "spreading propaganda" in online sermons and video comments.
